Mechanical Engineer

Description

Innovative Problem Solver needed!

Are you a little different than most of the Mechanical Engineers you know?

Do you look for new challenges and opportunities with the freedom and authority to think and work independently to drive results rather than repetitive work?

Does getting in on the “ground floor” of bringing a new, patent protected, dehumidification technology into the marketplace excite more than scare you?

Are you ready to directly impact growth and revenue by helping customers solve their problems, i.e. MAKING A DIFFERENCE?

Do you move quickly and accomplish more daily than the people around you?

If YES, please keep reading to find out more. If NO, we wish you the best of success with your search.

Academy Energy Group, LLC, (AEG) has a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team as the Lead Mechanical Engineer.  We have a patented HVAC chilled water dehumidification solution that has enormous market benefits for hot and humid climates or customers with humidity challenges and industry requirements.

We are looking for a detail-oriented person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn about our HVAC technology, take ownership, and help improve the design and processes to drive growth for this business unit.

We are looking for a new team member who understands the details of the problems, from both the technical and process aspects, who desires to serve the needs of our customers, and understands how to develop a plan to execute bridging the gaps to deliver solutions.  Field investigation, testing, and tuning the system are critical to help our customers maximize their HVAC operations.

We need a Lead Mechanical Engineer who can also effectively communicate the bigger picture to team members and stakeholders, assist in resolving roadblocks, and leading problem resolution.

Individual project results are important, but team building through collaboration is key to fostering sustainable partnerships that will grow overtime because of our team’s ability to execute.  AEG is about “Collaborating to Deliver” and “Partnering to Win”.

Academy Energy Group, LLC (AEG) is in its 14th year as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).  AEG exists to “Go into Battle Every Day to Protect and Serve our Partners”.  AEG is a consultative Electrical, Mechanical, Solar PV, & Communications Products Distributor, that also provides Pre-Construction Design Services.  We take a collaborative approach to project team development, to evaluate and incorporate application specific technologies and solutions to meet our Partner’s needs.  Our goal is to overcome the emerging obstacles to bring their project vision to fruition.  This provides an opportunity for our Team to work with a sense of duty to a higher purpose than just ourselves.  AEG is a 100% remote company, with occasional travel for project support, conferences, and training.  Our company currently works across 2 time zones and will accommodate you living and working in most locations.  AEG has received national recognition for supporting projects for the Davis Barracks at West Point, the GSA Green Proving Ground (two-time winner), and the Ireland Army Health Clinic at Fort Knox.
